‍ Primary Teacher – Portland

Location: Portland, Dorset
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time (with part-time considered)
Pay: £120 – £140 per day (dependent on experience)


Are you a creative and enthusiastic teacher looking for a new role on the stunning Jurassic Coast?

Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming primary school in Portland to recruit a Primary Class Teacher for a full-time position starting this September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school community.


The Role:

  • Teach a KS1 or KS2 class (year group based on experience)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Promote positive behaviour and inclusive classroom values
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and SLT to raise pupil outcomes

The Ideal Candidate:

✅ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✅ Has strong classroom management and planning skills
✅ Is confident in delivering the national curriculum
✅ Committed to pupil progress and wellbeing
✅ Open to ECTs and experienced teachers
