Primary Teacher

We are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to take on an interesting position that has just become available in a great primary school located near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The School is affiliated with other local schools in the area and this is reflected through a strong community presence within the staff team at the school. There are over 250 pupils on role at the School; it is 2 form entry with a well established Senior Leadership Team that welcomes and supports all new members of staff through their career progression.

What the school require from you:

• QTS
• Ability to mark effectively
• Effective classroom management skills
• Prior experience teaching in Primary Schools
• Encouragement of the schools behaviour policy

‘We are looking for a passionate and committed primary teacher that will ensure our pupils receive the best education possible, even when their usual teacher is on PPA time. Ideal applicants will be those who are willing to go the extra mile to achieve this - through accurate marking, as well as relevant and constructive feedback to our pupils’

The role is extremely accessible to those who are looking to work a flexible position, with the additional benefit of no prior planning required for any classes that you will be covering. There will also be a Teaching Assistant present in all classes, and your own transport will be required to and from the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
