Teacher – Maternity Cover (Afternoons Only)

Location: Dorchester, Dorset
Setting: Middle School
Key Stages: Mainly KS2
Hours: Afternoons only
Start Date: By agreement

We’re excited to be working with a friendly and welcoming middle school in Dorchester who are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to provide maternity cover on an afternoons-only basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a vibrant school environment, working mainly with KS2 pupils, while enjoying a flexible work pattern.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging lessons primarily across KS2, within a middle school environment
  • Provide continuity of learning during maternity leave cover
  • Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Adapt teaching to support a range of abilities and learning needs
  • Work collaboratively with a friendly and experienced team

We’d Love to Hear From You If You:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enjoy bringing learning to life with creativity and enthusiasm
  • Are confident working mainly in KS2
  • Hold a DBS on the Update Service (preferable) – or are happy to apply through us
  • Are reliable, adaptable and bring positive energy into the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
