Job description

Teachers – Year 5 & Primary Cover

Location: Based in Wool (cover in Swanage & surrounding areas)
Contract: Flexible / Ongoing Cover Opportunities
Start Date: By agreement

Are you a confident and adaptable teacher based in or near Wool, happy to commute to Swanage and the surrounding areas?

We are working with a number of welcoming primary schools who are seeking enthusiastic teachers to provide cover, primarily in Year 5, with opportunities to cover across other year groups and schools depending on availability and experience. These roles are ideal for teachers who enjoy flexibility while still making a positive impact in the classroom.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Year 5
  • Provide high-quality classroom cover and continuity of learning
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  • Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Take on opportunities to cover in other classes or schools when available

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Be happy to commute to Swanage and surrounding areas
  • Have a DBS on the Update Service (preferable)
  • Be able to drive or commute reliably between schools (preferable)
  • Be adaptable, reliable and confident in the classroom
  • Have a positive and professional approach to teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
