Primary School Teacher – Chard Area

Location: Chard, Somerset and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Flexible placements (full-time and part-time opportunities)

Teaching Personnel are looking for passionate and dedicated Primary Teachers to work across a range of friendly and supportive primary schools in the Chard Area This is a great opportunity for enthusiastic educators who love variety and enjoy inspiring young learners fro EYFS through to KS2.

You’ll create engaging lessons, nurture curiosity, and help children develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed — all while working in welcoming school communities that value creativity, collaboration, and care.

What You’ll Bring:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Experience in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 classrooms

  • A creative, adaptable, and nurturing teaching approach

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting every child’s learning journey

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
