Early Years & KS1 Teacher – Flexible Cover
Location: Shepton Mallet, Somerset and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Ad-hoc cover (with potential for long-term placements)

Do you have a passion for sparking curiosity and creativity in young minds? We’re looking for enthusiastic Early Years and Key Stage 1 Teachers to provide engaging and nurturing cover across welcoming primary schools in the Shepton Mallet area. For the right person, this could be the ideal opportunity to step into a long-term teaching role.

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent Early Years teaching qualification.
  • Recent, hands-on experience within EYFS or KS1 classrooms.
  • A warm, adaptable approach and strong classroom management skills.
  • A genuine passion for helping children grow, learn, and thrive.
  • Flexibility – whether you’re available one day a week or full-time.
  • An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
