Early Years & KS1 Teacher – Taunton

Location: Taunton, Somerset and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Ad-hoc cover (with potential for longer-term placements)

Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic Early years and Key Stage 1 Teachers to provide engaging and nurturing cover across welcoming primary schools in the Taunton area. For the right candidate, this could be a fantastic step towards a longer-term teaching role.

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent Early Years/KS1 teaching qualification

  • Recent classroom experience in EYFS or KS1

  • A nurturing, adaptable approach with excellent classroom management skills

  • A genuine passion for helping young children learn, grow, and thrive

  • Flexibility – whether you’re available one day a week or five

  • Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
