Primary School Teacher 

Location: Cardiff

Job Type: Full Time

Start Date: May 2024

Pay Per Day: £157.66

 

About the role:

The school is based in the centre of Cardiff, and you will be joining a supportive team of teachers and teaching assistants in the school. The role is starting after May half-term, with the potential to be extended until the end of the academic year ending in July 2024. The school are looking for a teacher to work on a full time basis, who will be open to working in the Foundation Phase or Key Stage 2. Reliability and commitment to the role will be required, as well as being confident with behaviour management and working with children with additonal learning needs.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Ability to mark effectively
  • Confident with behaviour management
  • Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate
  • Register to the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
  • Be able to provide professional based references

About the school:

The school has close proximity to the inner city of Cardiff and celebrates its diverse nature and community. Many pupils in the school have English as an Additional Language (EAL), therefore the teacher must be able to adapt to different needs and learning. The school’s mission is to deliver a fun learning environment with engaging lessons, to provide an excellent experience for the children inside and outside the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
