Primary SEND Teacher - Specialist SLD School

Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of an SEND school in Middlesbrough, who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Teacher for Key Stage 1 and 2 students. The role will start from September and will be on going for the foreseeable future. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced special needs teachers as well as specialist teaching assistants on a full time basis. An enthusiastic and proactive teacher is required to work with students with various Severe Learning Difficulties including Down Syndrome, Autism and Physical Impairments. The successful candidate will have a desire for working with children and be looking to make a real difference. You must be a strong role model, motivated and dedicated to providing outstanding teaching, the role will include assisting the children with day to day life skills as well as curriculum based knowledge. Ideally you will have experience of working within an educational setting with students with SLD; however individuals with a desire to work in this field or relevant experience will also be strongly considered.
