Job description
Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit a SEN TA who is able to work 1:1 with a primary aged child who is on the autistic spectrum. The successful SEN TA will be supporting the pupil on a one to one basis, helping them with their learning and social development. The school is based in Plymouth and is a mainstream primary school with an inclusive unit attached.
The role is full time- Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30. It is also term time only.
The ideal candidate MUST:
- Have experience supporting pupils with ASC and other developmental and/or behavioural difficulties
- Have a NVQ Level 3 minimum in Health and Social Care or similar
- Be available immediately with ability to carry out a long-term role
- Be passionate about working with children and supporting learning and welfare
- BSL experience and training would be advantageous
