Location: Norwich, Norfolk

 

We are currently recruiting full-time and part-time Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant primary school in Norwich, providing essential support to our students. Whether you're an experienced professional or someone eager to start a career in education, we welcome your application.

Although experience is desirable, it is not essential.

 

Job Details:

*Classroom Duties:*

- Work collaboratively to ensure students receive inclusive education with 1:1 support, addressing their individual social, educational, and intellectual needs.

- Maintain a safe and tidy classroom environment, including organizing and caring for equipment.

- Contribute to record-keeping by documenting observations of pupils throughout the school day.

- Communicate knowledge and understanding of students to other school staff.

- Demonstrate positive attitudes, values, and behaviours consistent with the role and school expectations.

- Promote, support, and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation in learning and extracurricular activities.

- Provide teaching and learning support, utilizing appropriate technical resources.

- Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and additional needs.

 

*Working Hours:*

Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm during Term Time

 

*Pay:*

£77 - £90 per day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
