Key Stage 1 and 2 Intervention Teacher Wanted in the Sunderland area with knowledge and experience delivering small group intervention.

-       Start date October 2020 – June 2021

-       Reading and Writing support needed

-       Part time (2-4 days per week)

-       Temporary contact (in line with the government tuition funding)

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a KS1 and 2 intervention teacher to work in a Primary School in the Sunderland area with the government catch-up funding.

  • Academic year 2020/2021
  • Location – Sunderland
  • Pay rate - GBP100 – GBP140 per day (depending on experience)
  • Temporary contract (in line with the government tuition funding)
  • Part-time (2-4 days per week)

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a KS1 and 2 intervention Teacher to work in Primary School in Sunderland with the government catch-up funding.

You will need to have experience of planning focused lessons for specific individuals or small groups of children. It is essential that you can positively identify gaps and weaknesses to challenge pupils. Successful candidates will be enthusiastic and create both fun and engaging sessions for mixed ability pupils.

In order to apply for this role, you must have the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Be available to work as soon as the children return to school
  • Reference information for the last six years
  • The ability to be flexible and adaptable daily

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting children push their attainment to the next level
  • Being creative and using innovation to enhance the learning experience of all pupils
  • Assessing progress and maintaining discipline
