Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next role in a vibrant and welcoming primary school setting?
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in Sunderland seeking to appoint a skilled HLTA to provide support across year groups. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HLTA to make a real impact, supporting learning and covering classes as needed across the school.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality learning activities to whole classes in the absence of the teacher
-
Work closely with teaching staff to plan, prepare, and assess learning activities
-
Support pupils’ academic and social development across various year groups
-
Provide targeted interventions where necessary
-
Uphold school policies and promote a positive learning environment
The ideal candidate will:
-
Hold HLTA status or equivalent experience
-
Have recent, relevant experience in a UK primary school
-
Be confident managing whole class teaching
-
Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills
-
Be flexible, adaptable, and committed to pupil progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
