Class Teacher – January 2026 Start
Amesbury, Wiltshire

Teaching Personnel are proud to be working alongside a school in Amesbury who are seeking to appoint a Class Teacher to join their team from January 2026.

The school are looking for a teacher who is:

  • Ruthless in maintaining the highest standards of teaching and learning
  • Committed to ensuring exceptional behaviour management across the classroom
  • Resilient, driven, and passionate about delivering the best outcomes for pupils

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who thrives in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A track record of high standards in teaching and learning
  • DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
  • References and completion of Teaching Personnel’s safeguarding training
  • Willingness to attend an informal interview with Teaching Personnel before progressing to school interview

Recruitment Process:
All successful applicants will undergo a thorough vetting process with Teaching Personnel, including an informal interview, reference checks, safeguarding training, and verification of a valid DBS certificate. Following this, shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview directly with the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
