Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to make a real difference to pupils who may have experienced barriers to learning.

Catering for children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, they focus on creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and flexible Primary Teacher who is confident teaching across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

The role:

  • Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum (KS1 & KS2)
  • Building strong, positive relationships to nurture pupils’ confidence and love of learning
  • Supporting children’s emotional and social development alongside academic progress
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, pastoral staff, and external professionals
  • Contributing to the wider life and ethos of our school community

What we’re looking for:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) who is comfortable working across KS1 and KS2
  • A flexible, resilient and nurturing approach, with a genuine passion for working with children with SEMH needs
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse needs
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
