Primary 1:1 Teaching Assistant (SEN)

Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a primary aged child with learning difficulties. The successful TA will be supporting the pupil on a one to one basis, helping them with their learning and social development. The school is an SEN school based in Plymouth. They cater for children with autistic spectrum conditions, behavioural difficulties and social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

The role is full time- 8:30-3:30, Monday to Friday. It is also term time only.

The ideal candidate MUST:

• Have a NVQ Level 3 minimum in Health and Social Care or similar
• Be available immediately with ability to carry out a long-term role
• Be passionate about working with children and supporting learning and welfare
• Having a full, clean driving licence with access to a car daily is compulsory

Highlights of this role:

• Full time TA position starting in September 2019
• Pay between £285 - £325 per week depending on role and experience
• Temporary, long-term position
• Gain support and further experience working with the school's SLT
