PPA Teacher - Borehamwood

About the School

This well known school in Watford has received Good Ofsted report and has recently expanded into a 3 form entry school. As a proud member of NACE they are currently known for excellent student engagement, with a wide range of extra curricular activities available to pupils the school also offers continuous career development for its staff with subsidised CPD courses and mentoring. The SLT has a strong focus on maintaining the link between the school and student's home offering support to each and every pupil as required.

About the Role

A well known primary school in Borehamwood are currently looking for two PPA teachers who are comfortable teaching KS1 and KS2. The role will involve covering classes for teachers who will have: NQT release time, preparation and planning and also short term classes. By actively accessing the needs of the class, you will be able to adapt your teaching style in accordance to the year group you will be teaching. By doing so you will effectively deliver lessons that are engaging and informative. The school actively encourages experimental learning and hire teachers who are able to deliver a creative approach to the national curriculum. You will also be responsible for proving a safe environment for all students within the class and instil a passion for continuous learning.

What we are looking for?

  • Qualified Teaching Status
  • Minimum six months class based experience
  • Currently completing PGCE
  • Passionate about Teaching
  • Interested in teaching KS1 & Ks2
