PPA Teacher Required in Lancaster LA1

A role has opened up in one of our Lancaster schools for a Qualified Teacher to start in January 2026 on a part time basis. This role will be 2 full days a week with the potential to increase due to demand.
This is a cover PPA role, working across all the Key stages, with the expectation of preparing, planning and assessing learning across each year group. This role is a long-term cover, although the school have expressed that they would be open to a school-based contract next academic year, for the right person.
Role and responsibilities
- Teaching classes that need covering across KS1 and KS2.
- Communicating effectively with class teachers and support staff across the school.
- Planning for classes in case of absences.
- Being flexible and reliable to step up and cover classes in the absence of teachers.
- Marking classwork.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
