PPA cover teacher

This vacancy has now expired.

Job description

A Multi Academy Trust (MAT) have come to Teaching Personnel to seek to employ a PPA Cover Teacher to work at a number of their Primary schools based in Leeds as soon as the children return to school this year!

The Trust have decided that, as they reshuffle their staff due to the shutdown, they would like to appoint a full-time PPA teacher instead of covering in-house to explore the possibilities this would open up, as it would free other staff to do different tasks. This would allow other teaching staff more time to plan and do more focused group work, so should this go well the school are open to the idea of offering a permanent contract to the right candidate.

The schools thatv you would be working at are based in the Leeds area (roughly around 10-15 minutes apart) and therefore depending on your timetable you may be working at 2 schools in the same day. Therefore it is essential that Teachers applying for this role have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. You will be working at various Leeds Primary schools within the Trust (up to 5 schools) and will be expected to cover classes from EYFS - Year 6. Therefore a Teacher with experience teaching across the primary age range would be desirable.

Above all else the Multi Acaademy Trust need an experienced and confident teacher, who is reliable enough to work across these varied schools, classes and age groups without too many issues. The Trust want to be able to trust the candidate in these various situations, so wide-ranging and varied school experience would reflect well in this sense. Some classes also have more challenging behaviour than others, so someone who is not intimidated by this and has a track record of handling tough classes is very desirable to the schools in the Trust.

This role is ideal for anyone looking for exciting teaching work with a variety of children, without the stresses of a full-time class teacher role.

If this sounds like a role you would be interested in this role then apply by submitting your CV as indicated and we will get back to you!
