A rural comprehensive with a thriving sixth form, the school is host to 1800 pupils. The school offers a broad curriculum raising standards for all. A new Head Teacher has provided a directive for improvement and a vision that is shared by all staff, parents and pupils alike.
We are working exclusively with our client school, who have an exciting opportunity for a teacher of Physics with a start to be negotiated by the successful candidate, an immediate start would be ideal. The successful candidate will have responsibility for teaching Physics and General Science to GCSE level. We expect the successful candidate will be a qualified teacher, holding QTS or equivalent. Due to timetable flexibility applications will also be considered from those that specialise in Chemistry and Biology.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Hold QTS or recognised international teaching qualification
- Be a motivational & innovative teacher
- Be able to evidence recent 'good' or 'outstanding' observation reports
- Have recent experience of teaching GCSE Physics, Biology or Chemistry.
