Job Description: As a Physical Education Teacher you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring PE lessons to students from various age groups. You will work collaboratively with the department to develop a curriculum that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and a lifelong love of sports and physical activity. Your role will also involve:
- Planning and delivering dynamic PE lessons that cater to different skill levels and abilities.
- Organizing and overseeing sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities.
- Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback, and encouraging individual development.
- Promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all students, fostering a positive attitude towards physical fitness.
- Collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development and participating in department meetings.
- Staying up-to-date with educational trends and best practices in physical education.
Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field (PGCE or QTS is desirable).
- Relevant teaching experience in a school setting.
- A passion for physical fitness and a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
