PE Teacher

Are you a confident PE Teacher, looking for a new challenge in September?

Teaching Personnel are seeking a PE Teacher to work in our client's school located in South Manchester. Working in a strong PE team to teach students in KS3 and KS4 achieve their academic goals. The PE Teacher role will involve teaching practical and theory based lessons to students ages 11-16.

  • Full time role, starting in September 2019
  • Located South Manchester in Chorlton
  • Teaching Physical Education to KS3 - KS4 Students
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406) with weekly pay
  • Opportunity to earn a permanent contract

Due to an open vacancy at our client's school, the head of PE is looking to recruit a new and experienced PE Teacher for the new academic year. The successful PE teacher will be joining a strong and cohesive team working in an Ofsted rated 'Good' school.

The successful PE Teacher will;

  • Create fun and interactive PE lessons to engage every student
  • Have a confident teaching presence to be able to control a large class of students
  • Be able to work well in a team
  • Be able to commit to a full time position
  • Have previous experience teaching PE

Our client's school is located South Manchester in Chorlton, just of the M60, with excellent public transport links from Piccadilly, the secondary school can be accessed easily in the morning.

The PE department organises a range of different sporting events/ fixtures throughout the year, giving the successful PE Teacher the opportunity to coach a sporting team to compete against other schools.
