£23720 - £39406 per annum + Negotiable

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

Due to a change in their staffing, our client secondary in Oldham are looking for a qualified PE teacher to join from Easter, potentially sooner and to take on a full PE teaching timetable.

- Full time PE teaching timetable across 5 days

- Modern secondary school with excellent facilities throughout

- Excellent career progression with strong links to pastoral in the department

- Excellent public transport links for non-drivers from City centre

- Full time position until July 2019, could lead onto permanent work

Our client school is a large, well facilitated secondary school situated on the border of Manchester and Oldham boasting excellent transport links via tram, and a good locality to the neighbouring M60 motorway. The school currently has over 1500 students enrol from the local community and is the school of choice for students and parents. In their most recent Ofsted inspection, the school's leadership and management was judged to be Good with the effective action plan recently implemented, paying dividends in both attainment and progress across the school.

This position at our client school as a PE teacher will involve delivering Physical Education to students aged 11 - 16, as well as working with students in their upcoming GCSE examinations. As this timetable is full time, there could be elements of team teaching alongside other school staff and supporting the behaviour and pastoral teams for those looking at taking on any additional responsibility.

If you are a PE teacher looking to secure a long term position from Easter or maybe sooner, and would like to be taken into immediate consideration for this position, then please apply via the details below or contact Miles at Manchester North Secondary directly.
