ARE YOU A SPORTY INDIVIDUAL WITH A GENUINE PASSION FOR TEACHING SECONDARY SCHOOL PUPILS THE IMPORTANCE OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION?

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in physical education or similar field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred
• Sports coach qualification
• Relevant experience and proven track record for teaching or coordinating PE lessons within a secondary school
• Enhanced DBS on update service or willing to obtain one

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of PE secondary curriculum
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience working with SEN pupils
• Genuine passion for teaching young people exciting PE lessons
• Plan and deliver versatile PE lessons to a range of ages and abilities
• Ability to adapt lessons at short notice to suit needs of class

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
