Due to a restructuring of our client schools pastoral team, our client school are looking to appoint an experienced pastoral manager to help oversee the pastoral welfare of specific students for the remainder of this academic year.
- Modern secondary school situated in Oldham
- Full time position as pastoral manager in secondary school
- Earn up to £300 per week as pastoral manager
- Ideally located on bus route from Manchester - Oldham
Our client school is a high-achieving secondary school, situated in the north of Oldham, bordering Rochdale. The school has shown a consistent level of improvement year on year, and achieved their best ever GCSE results in the 2016/17 academic year, with the expectancies that they'll continue this upward trend in upcoming years due to the high standards of teaching and learning.
The position as a pastoral manager will entail working with young people in a specific cohort, assessing their needs and helping remove barriers to education to improve their attainment and progress. You will work with and support the other members of the pastoral team, SLT links and Safeguarding team in ensuring students are given individualised support plans tailored to their needs and capabilities. The overall aims will be to ensure each student can meet or exceed their targets, both socially and academically.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
