SCIENCE TEACHER
BIOLOGY SPECIALIST
A 'good' secondary school in Leyland seeking to appoint a Science teacher to start after immediately.
The position is part time, (3 days a week) initially. The contract is for 18 months, with an opportunity to go permenant.
Head of Science: "I need a biologist that has proven experience of delivering solidly good lessons."
The school:
The school is oversubscribed, dynamic and constantly improving. It has an outstanding reputation for high academic achievement and educational standards.
The science department is made up of 8 members of staff including a Head of department and a Science Technician and Science teachers.
The role:
- Part time role
- Teaching KS3/4 Science following the AQA Specification
- 18 months
- Starting ASAP
The interview process:
- 2 lesson observations - 50 minutes each
- Formal interview with panel
