Teaching Personnel are currently working directly with a school in Farnborough to recruit a part time (0.8) Maths teacher to join their thriving department until the end of the academic year.
The school have a large maths department lead by a department head who has been in the school for the last 8 years and leading the department for the last 6, this has built a strong and well established team of mathematicians who regularly exceed expectations and produce very high results much higher than the national and regional average.
This role is suitable for an NQT and the school will provide a fully supported and structured syllabus with a dedicated mentor to support you whilst you are working.
The role itself is a four day a week role, covering ks3 and ks4 with the full responsibility of a teacher including meetings after school, marking and planning work and parents evenings. You may also be required to take a tutor group. The role is a fixed term role until the end of the academic year. there is a possibility this role will become permanent for the correct candidate, depending on circumstance.
Interviews with observed lessons will be held by the school on a rolling basis, and conducted by the head teacher, another member of SLT and the head of department.
