The school believe that every child deserves the very best education and challenge vehemently the idea that their social context should be a barrier to their academic success. They exist first and foremost to improve the life chances of young people through excellent care, teaching and guidance and believe that the relationship between home and school is paramount.
As leaders of learning they do not sit back and continue to do the same things year in year out, especially if they know they can do better. They invest heavily in CPD/ training and have fantastic links with other schools and professional organisations which has led to their induction programme receiving the highest rating from Hampshire. New ideas and approaches are welcomed with open arms and coaching is used to unlock potential. They work very closely with Their ~family™ of partner schools and are currently the strategic lead for a unique teaching and learning project. Due to links with local post 16 providers there may be an opportunity, in the future, to teach at KS5.
In order to move from good to outstanding they wish to appoint an outstanding teacher of Maths, and there is the possibility of a TLR payment for a suitable candidate. You may be about to gain your teaching qualification and looking for your first role or seeking further experience in another school. No matter what stage of your career you are at you should have the potential to be an outstanding classroom practitioner (if you aren't already) with a passion for taking risks, trying new things and reflecting on your own practice in order improve.
To apply for this role please send a full CV to Jim at or phone on 02380 331 441 and I will be happy to consider any and all applicants
