Job Title: KS3/KS4 Teaching Assistant (Flexible Supply)

Location: Various Secondary Schools in the Local Area
Contract Type: Flexible / Supply / Long Term / Permanent
Salary: £89 - £95 per day

About the Role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and proactive KS3/KS4 Teaching Assistants to work across a range of secondary schools in the local area. This flexible role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in different school environments while supporting students to reach their full potential.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in the classroom, help deliver engaging learning activities, and provide additional support to students where required. You will play a key role in maintaining a positive learning environment and encouraging student engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support teachers with classroom activities for students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support where needed
  • Assist with classroom management and student engagement
  • Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Adapt to different school settings and teaching styles

Requirements

  • A proactive, positive, and flexible attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Experience working with SEN (Special Educational Needs) or SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) students is desirable but not essential
  • Passion for supporting young people in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
