We are currently seeking an Outreach worker, full time, in Leyland, starting in January 2020.

 

A Head Teacher of a successful, Ofsted graded 'Good' School, is looking for an Outreach Worker to start with them from January.

The School is based on the outskirts of Leyland and they are currently seeking an Outreach Support Worker.

The School is smaller than average and caters for KS2/3 and 4 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and Challenging Behaviours.

Your role will entail working on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who can not remain in the classroom, the role will require you to work in their off site provision, sometimes in the pupils' home and often in Vocational Centres around the area.

Candidates applying for this role must be confident working alone with pupils who may be challenging in their behaviours and have experience in engaging pupils in education.

You will not be asked to plan your own work, however, you may be expected to deliver pre-set work to the pupils.

The majority of your time will be spent on time in a Support role, however, you must be able to and happy to work outside of School with pupils' when required.

Pay for this role will be between GBP9.50 - GBP10.50 per hour and the role is long term, with the view to become permanent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
