We are currently seeking individuals who have relevant outdoor or extreme sport experience that are looking to transfer their skills into a classroom setting. We are working with a number of Pupil Referral Units and Alternative Provisions who are looking for individuals with the following relevant experience/qualifications in:
- Outdoor Education
- Rock Climbing
- Canoeing
- Bush Craft
- Personal Training
As a outdoor/ extreme sports leader, you will be leading and supporting outdoor activities within a educational setting. You will be required to plan outdoor lessons and draw upon your advanced knowledge to engage with small groups of vulnerable pupils who have additional needs such as: Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH). You will be supported by a team of professionals who are dedicated in providing support to vulnerable students.
The ideal candidate will be from an outdoor background or hold relevant sporting/outdoor qualifications. You will be passionate about adapting a holistic approach to teaching and supporting students who can display aggressive behaviour. This is the ideal job for those with outdoor qualifications who are looking to develop a career in education.
