Online Tutor

Do you have experience tutoring secondary aged students?

Due to the closure of schools related to COVID-19, Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Tutors to support students located in Central and South Manchester.

Successful tutors will deliver online 1:1 Tuition and small group Teaching to students aged 11-16.  Sessions will be based on KS3 and GCSE English, Maths and Science.

Working hours for this position are flexible meaning that sessions can be delivered anytime between 8am – 8pm. All sessions will be recorded for learning and safeguarding purposes and will also provide students with suitable revision material.

To apply for this position candidates must:

  • Be a qualified teacher or have experience tutoring KS3 and/or GCSE English, Maths and Science.
  • Have full access to the internet and a computer or laptop with a microphone and web camera.
  • Have excellent knowledge of Safeguarding including online safeguarding.
  • Be passionate about education and have a genuine desire to help students achieve their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
