An Ofsted rated GOOD primary school in Ashford, Kent, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Office Manager to join their permanent staff team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of a vibrant and welcoming educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the daily operations of the school office
• Managing administrative support staff and delegating tasks effectively
• Handling correspondence, phone calls, and inquiries from parents, staff, and external agencies
• Maintaining accurate records and managing school databases
• Coordinating admissions and enrollment processes
• Ensuring compliance with school policies, regulations, and procedures
• Assisting with budget management, including invoicing and procurement
• Organizing school events, meetings, and appointments
• Liaising with the senior leadership team to support school improvement plans

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an office management role, preferably within an educational setting
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with school management software
• Knowledge of data protection regulations and confidentiality practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• A positive attitude and a commitment to the school's ethos and values

Desirable:

• Experience with SIMS (School Information Management System)
• First Aid qualification
• Knowledge of HR and payroll processes
