Nurture Setting Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a Special School in Hull who require an Nurture Specialist Teaching Assistant starting after half-term on a temporary to permanent contract.

The school provides specialist education for up to 30 students aged 5-17 years and provides high-quality, personalised education for students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties. The school’s success is based on an approach which combines high expectations with sensitivity to the needs of individual students. Timetables are tailor made to each individual to ensure they are making progress and receiving the required level of therapeutic input.

The school require a nurture specialist Teaching Assistant to work with their Primary aged children to engage with their eduaction and make progress emotionally and socially.

Experience working within a Special School is preferred but experience working with children with Autism/SEMH difficulties is essential.

This is a fulltime role which is due to start after half term.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
