Nursery Assistant

We are looking for a passionate individual to work as a Nursery Assistant and provide the best start to a child’s education. You will work alongside other professionals and use fun play methods as a way of providing educational opportunities for the class.

What do I need to have to be a Learning Assistant:

• A GCSE or equivalent at grade C/level  4 or above in Maths and English
• Experience working alongside young children in a relevant environment (paid or voluntary)
• A Full UK Driving License
• An updated CV with a minimum of 6 years career history
• Aspirations to encourage and inspire children to learn
• Patience and dedication to your role

What are my responsibilities:

• Support children inside and outside of the classroom
• Organise fun and educational activities
• Assist both teachers and children in daily tasks
• Provide encouragement and praise for children in all that they do
• Prepare children for the next stage of education
