NQT Talent Pool
Job description
Teaching Personnel NQT Talent Pool 2020/21 - North Manchester
The Talent Pool offers Final Years Student/Unqualified and Newly Qualified Teachers the opportunity to apply through a Talent Pool in order to be considered for NQT posts beginning in September 2020. The pool requires only a couple of pre-requisites and with this you are given an opportunity to secure a long-term (full or part-time) teaching position in a local school where you will complete at least one term of your NQT induction.
At the application stage you will be expected to provide the following information, aside from your usual personal details and six-year career history:
- Proof of Qualified Teacher Status or proof you will qualify in the following months
- The ability to provide a DBS on the Update Service or have means to purchase this through the vetting process with Teaching Personnel
- References details from all your placement schools and potentially other relevant employers
- A full up to date CV specifying your experiences and roles and responsibilities
Given all this information we will be happy to process your application and subject to full vetting and compliance you will then be registered to join the TP NQT Talent Pool 2020/21. Here you will have access to regular job advertisements through the agency as well as opportunities to join free and subsidised continuous professional development. More importantly, you will be subject to potential interviews through face to face/TEAMs and SKYPE as well as potential mini lesson observations (subject to school closures and social distancing policies). You will be in competition with other budding NQTs in the local area so it is important that you are well prepared and stand out from the rest! You will be given opportunities to speak with the specialist NQT consultants in the office.
We will initially be on hand to tailor your CV, offer advice on interview and observations as well as work alongside you through the full induction process.
The scheme has been created due to the nature of the COVID-19 situation and the lack of organisation and logistics that schools will eventually come back to, meaning recruitment in general will work mainly through a preferred supply agency. As Teaching Personnel is the leading agency across the UK, more schools than ever will be using this service in order to guarantee they have the best NQTs starting in school from September 2020. Feedback from Head teacher’s we have corresponded with has already sparked interest and within weeks we are expecting to place our first wave of NQTs in the Medway area. Make sure YOU are in the first wave!
If interested, then please contact Tajay in the Manchester South Primary Branch on 0161 242 1796 or via email on tajay.bryan@teachingpersonnel.com. COVID-19 has not stopped any of our dedicated consultants working from home to place candidates for the return of schools. Don’t miss out on such a good opportunity. Remember, one application to the TP NQT TALENT POOL can effectively open up multiple opportunities from September 2020!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
