NQT Reception Teacher

Role: NQT Reception Teacher
Location: Bromley
Salary: MPS1
Start Date: September 2020
Duration: One year contract with a view to appointment permanently

An NQT Reception Teacher is required for a deeply empathetic primary school, that is focussing their efforts on staff well-being and pupil creativity, based in Beckenham. They are recruiting for a creative and highly energetic NQT EYFS Teacher to start in September 2020. Please find further details below:

NQT Reception Teacher role:
• Responsibility for managing the pupil’s development and liaising with your phase leader to ensure all pupils are making good progress.
• To line manage your Classroom Assistant and Nursery Nurses to ensure they’re used effectively in your class.
• To understand the pupil’s range of backgrounds and tailor your teaching approach towards them. Ensuring a healthy balance between child led and teacher led activities.
• The school has a range of abilities and needs within the class, so an adept skill in differentiation is required.

School Information:
• Ofsted graded as Good.
• The school are actively involved with the local community and parental interactions. Successfully encouraging a positive relationship between parents and school staff.
• The school put their staff first, ensuring their well-being, happiness and career growth are nurtured.
• Although the school is two form entry, the provisions in place comfortably meet all pupils and staff.

NQT Reception Teacher role requires for you to have the following:
• Qualified Teacher Status
• Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to get one.
• An obvious empathy towards the pupils and a desire to succeed within their own remit.
