NQT of French and Spanish

Temporary, 1-2 terms from September 2020

MPS

The school, based on Hayling  Island is looking to appoint an NQT of French and Spanish to join their experienced team from September for 1-2 terms initially.

At present the Department consists of 2 full time members. They are a friendly department that are passionate about enabling pupils to gain the best possible results. Frequently, they are praised for their excellent working relationships with their pupils and the regular and detailed feedback they provide.

The quality of Teaching and Learning in the department is good or better. Their bright classrooms all have interactive whiteboards and desktop computers courses. In the Lower School they teach thematic modules, using a wide range of challenging and exciting resources as stimuli. In the Upper School they follow the AQA French and Spanish syllabus

The school is a happy, caring and safe place where good working relationships between pupils, staff and parents are at the heart of their successful work. They have very high expectations of themselves. All pupils are expected to work very hard, practice and persevere within a supportive and nurturing environment. Through their mantra: Learning, Growing, Achieving and Celebrating Together their focus is to ensure that all of their students leave them  as very well qualified young citizens, fully prepared for their next steps and ambitious to make a significant contribution to society. In February 2018 OFSTED judged the college ‘Good’ in all areas so recognising all the hard work, commitment and progress by staff, pupils, parents and Governors. It is therefore a very exciting time to join the school and be part of work and development to achieve higher standards.
