There is a direct link by initially using NQT’s as supply teachers and them gaining full time positions in those schools. As a NQT the one thing lacking is experience but working as a supply teacher for an initial period you can gain that valuable experience and meet essential contacts in a range of schools.

At Teaching personnel we can provide you with the necessary training (Free CPD Courses) and links to get you on the right path to a successful career within teaching. You will be supported by a personnel specialist consultant who will liaise with school on your behalf.

• Ability to build rapport with secondary school-age students
• Have the drive and determination to make a difference
• Have high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour
• Be an excellent and inspirational class teacher, who demonstrates outstanding classroom practice and who has children at the heart of all they do
• Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
• Excellent communication skills

Requirements:

• DBS Certificate on the update service or be able to apply for one
• MUST have a Teaching qualification (PGCE,QTS or QTLS)
• Two professional references
• Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
