Join a vast number of Secondary schools across Lancashire requiring regular flexible cover following the reopening of schools in the UK. 

Successful teachers will be introduced to a number of secondary schools located in Preston, Leyland, Chorley, Darwen, Accrington and Ormskirk, providing same day emergency cover as well as providing specialist staff for longer-term absences.  

As a Newly Qualified Teacher this is a fantastic opportunity to visit a large number of Secondary schools in Lancashire helping you to gain great teaching experience in a variety of schools and to build up your confidence in the classroom whilst earning a competitive salary. We offer temp to perm contracts with our partner schools allowing you to experience a variety of schools before settling into a permanent position sourced by Teaching Personnel. Our positions are temporary and flexible, allowing you to fit in any other commitments that you may already have.  

Full time and part time positions available. All NQT Candidates will be enrolled onto a NQT Talent Pool Scheme by TP. You will get access to FREE training from our sister company, Best Practice Network, FREE CPD in from TP's CPD Academy and access to an online portal. 

Responsibilities of the Supply Teacher role will include:

  • Supervising lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups. 
  • Providing suitable feedback on all lessons. 
  • Acting as a positive role model and encourage a positive learning environment. 
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies.

  • Have completed (or working towards) a PGCE
  • Be able to maintain positive behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
  • Be flexible to cover a variety of subjects 
  • Be extremely reliable and enthusiastic

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
