Due to the increase of supply teachers needed across the Lytchett Matravers area, we are looking to recruit hardworking and supportive Supply Teachers to cover a variety of lessons in schools to start this September.
The schools we work with will vary in distance from your house, however you can tell us how far you are willing to travel and to what areas. As a supply teacher, you would deliver the work left by the class teacher and leave brief feedback at the end of the day. To work as a supply teacher, you must hold QTS.

- Must have transferable experience to work within primary education
- Ensuring pupils complete all tasks and promoting positive behaviour management
Your duties will involve:
- Delivering the lessons in accordance with the class teachers planning
- Covering lessons in absence of a timetabled teacher across the curriculum
- Encouraging and supporting pupils
- You may be required to mark pupil’s work
- Working 1:1 with students and large groups up to 30
The successful candidate must have:
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Enthusiasm and a passion about education and learning
- Good organisational skills
- Flexibility and creativity
- Ability to manage groups of pupils and be confident with behaviour management

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
