We are currently recruiting Supply Teachers across Dorset to work in a range of primary and secondary schools on a flexible basis.

Whether you're looking for full-time work, a few days a week, short-term placements or day-to-day supply, we can help find opportunities that suit your availability and experience.

‍ The Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of schools and year groups, delivering engaging lessons and ensuring pupils continue to make progress in the absence of their usual teacher.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons to pupils.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Following school policies and procedures.
  • Supporting pupils with their learning and development.
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Working collaboratively with school staff.
  • Providing feedback where required.

We're Looking For Teachers Who:

  • Have relevant teaching experience and appropriate teaching qualifications.
  • Have experience working within a UK school setting.
  • Are confident managing a classroom.
  • Are adaptable and able to work across different school environments.
  • Are reliable, professional and enthusiastic.
  • Have a genuine passion for education.
  • Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Are looking for flexible opportunities across Dorset.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
