Newly Qualified Teacher Required, Full Time Teaching Position, Gorton, Manchester M18

- Year 2 Teacher Post

- Maternity cover starting in april 2021

- Experience teaching in KS1 essential

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a client school in Gorton, Manchester (M18). This larger than average, 2 form entry primary school are seeking a dedicated NQT who is looking to kick start their career in a ‘GOOD’ academy school. This full time teaching position will start in April 2021 and will run for a full year. The successful Teacher will have experience teaching across KS1, preferably year 2, and will be comfortable with all areas of the curriculum.

This lovely Manchester primary school was graded ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted at its last inspection. The school was praised for developing ‘lessons which focus on pupils’ enthusiasms so that concentration and attitudes to learning are good.’  The school has adopted a ‘Montessori’ way of teaching, ‘which fosters independence, confidence and curiosity in pupils.’  The head teacher and governors of the school are looking for a proactive NQT who will adapt to the warm and friendly ethos of the school whilst bringing their own personal touch and flare to teaching and learning.

To be considered for this post, you will:

-          Have experience teaching across KS1

-          Have an enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and learning

-          Be able to adapt the curriculum to meet the varying abilities of all children in the class

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
