NQT Primary Teacher

Are you a Newly Qualified Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity starting in September?

Are you looking to secure your first teaching position or looking for regular supply work?

Are you looking to gain valuable experience in various schools across the Newport & South East area?

Location: Caerphilly

Pay: Starting £157.66 per day (M1 scale over the full year)

Hours: 08:30-15:30 Monday to Friday (term time only)

We are currently recruiting NQT’s for September 2024 to work in the Caerphilly Area. We offer a variety of positions to suit our partner school’s needs, such as full-time, part-time and day to day roles. Throughout your time with Teaching Personnel, you will receive support from a dedicated and specialist consultant who endeavors to aid you with finding the right role and supporting you throughout your first teaching year.

The candidate will have:

  • PGCE or QTS Status
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate
  • Registered with the EWC
  • 2 Professional Based References from your PGCE/Latest QTS Placements

The candidate will be required to:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that accommodate for all pupil’s ability ranges.
  • Have a passion for teaching and developing children’s learning.
  • Organize the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment.
  • Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development.
  • Contribute to the ethos and values of the school and adhere to all school policies.
  • Have commitment, be highly motivated and be able to contribute to our dedicated and enthusiastic team.
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner who inspires and leads children to reach their full potential through high quality learning experiences.
  • Be adaptable, resourceful, innovative, and inspirational.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
