SEN Teaching Assistant N12
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of supportive and inclusive schools in the N12 area of North London who are looking to welcome dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants into their teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a meaningful difference in the classroom.
The role is available on a full time or part time basis and offers a daily pay rate of £90 to £105, paid weekly. Schools are seeking individuals who are reliable patient and enthusiastic about inclusive education.
The role -
As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will support pupils with a range of needs including ASD SEMH ADHD and behavioural challenges. Support may be delivered one to one or within small groups both inside and outside of the classroom. You will help pupils access learning manage emotions and develop positive behaviours while building strong consistent relationships that support their progress.

Schools in N12 pride themselves on providing safe nurturing and structured environments where children feel supported and understood. Staff work closely together to ensure pupils’ academic emotional and social needs are met and SEN provision is a key focus across the schools.

Who we are looking for ✅
We are looking for individuals with a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN and mental health needs. You must have the right to work in the UK and hold a Child Only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one. A calm proactive and caring approach is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
