A midsized, reputable and renowned special educational needs (SEN) school based in Slough area urgently require a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SENTA) full time.

Experience is a bonus but is not essential as this school offers training opportunities and CPD courses.

•Desired but not essential - Previous Education, Art, Psychology, Music, Sports or Horticulture graduates/trained professionals.

•Previous experience with 5 – 16 years olds in any professional or home environment would be beneficial

•Experience and or interest in special educational needs or specific learning disabilities such as autism, Asperger’s, challenging behaviour and physical disabilities

•A real Passion for working with, and educating children and being a big part of their development

•Willingness to learn, adapt and to take on new challenges

This school based in Slough has state of the art facilities in therapy such as; sensory rooms, hydrotherapy and swimming pools. Therefore this Slough based special educational school is looking for SEN staff who can bring out pupils true potential harnessing these specific tools. However, even with all this state of the art technology they are also looking for staff who are good all-rounders in core subjects such as Literacy, Numeracy and Science.

This school offer a selection of training for their staff including Team-Teach, moving and handling, basic first aid and health and safety.
