Full time Music Teacher required for long term position in Oldham, starting September 2019

Based in the heart of Oldham and with excellent ties to the local community, the school is consistently over subscribed each year by parents seeking a supportive and safe learning environment. Located a short distance from the Hollinwood Interchange off the M60 and a 5 minute walk from major public transport links to the city centre, the school can be accessed easily by all.

With full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking involved, the incoming Music Teacher will be taking up a full time table of Music, involving both practical and theoretical KS3 and GCSE Music lessons. The position will be starting in September 2019 and will be on going until at least the end of the academic year, with the Head of Music stating the opportunity of a permanent contract for the incoming Music Teacher.

  • Full time position for a Music Teacher or Newly Qualified Music Teacher
  • MPS/UPS(£23,720 - £39,406)pay on offer, dependent on experience and responsibilities
  • Working within a large modern school in Oldham with state of the art facilities
  • Opportunity to uptake added responsibilities within the Music department
  • Further training and development opportunities available
