Music Teacher

Contract: Full-time
Length: Minimum of 1 term until July 2024, with possibility of extension until December 2024

We are working closely with a Secondary School located in a village in Bedfordshire, seeking a Music Teacher who can teach KS3, KS4, and KS5 Music. The ideal candidate will be available full-time until at least July 2024.

Contract
Full-time Music Teacher position from 8:20am - 3pm. This long-term contract will treat you as a permanent member of staff, with access to all CPD opportunities and PPA time included in your timetable. The role requires a Music Teacher with at least 2 years of experience, although Early Career Teachers are also encouraged to apply.
Salary
The salary will be based on the National Teacher Pay Scale, M1 - M6, on a daily rate equivalent.

The ideal candidate will possess:
- QTS or PGCE Music Qualification
- At least 1 year of experience teaching GCSE Music
- Extensive knowledge of GCSE Music and experience teaching Music to KS5
- A passion for teaching Music and promoting learning for excellent results
- Excellent classroom management and high expectations for achievement and behaviour
- The ability to plan and deliver creative and engaging Music lessons
