Position: Music and Drama

Salary: GBP25714 - GBP41604
Start Date – 01/09/2021
We are seeking to appoint a successful, highly motivated, and dynamic candidate to join our performing arts team. This position is suitable to both experienced teachers and NQTs. The faculty incorporates Music, Drama and Media Studies. The successful candidate will teach across Music and Drama and contribute to our extensive extra-curricular programme. This position is suitable to both experienced teachers and NQTs.
The successful candidate will:
• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner or have outstanding potential.
• Have strong subject knowledge and a love of Music and Drama.
• Be ambitious to make a difference in the lives of our young people.
• Show commitment to the school’s vision and ethos.
Our school is a successful 11 – 16 provision in a central Blackburn location. We have outstanding facilities and a culture of collaboration and shared resources. We a nationally recognised Teaching school partnership providing training and development opportunities to all members of staff. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
