Motor Vehicle Tutor

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Blackburn based School which caters for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and Challenging Behaviours.

The School is smaller than average and caters for pupils who can no longer remain in mainstream education, for a variety of reasons. The pupils in School can often display challenging behaviours and candidates applying for this role must be confident in their behaviour management skills.

The School are seeking a Tutor for their Motor Vehicle department, you will be expected to deliver lessons to KS3 / 4 pupils in Motor Vehicle repair, Engineering and mechanics.

The candidate doesn't have to be a fully qualified Teacher, the School are open to meeting candidates who come from a background in Motor Vehicles or mechanics and feel confident enough to deliver lessons to small groups of pupils.

The role will be full time, starting as soon as possible and candidates will likely work alongside the current Tutor for 4 - 6 weeks and then take over as the lead Tutor.

Pay rates for this role will be completely dependent and negotiable based on experience.
